Hi! Welcome to Under the Hood!

Allow me to introduce myself. I am James W. Sawers, a proud contributor to Ryan’s website. I want to first thank Ryan for giving me this opportunity and wish him all the best in this new endeavor.

Ryan has asked me to write a weekly column on the automobile industry. This is called Under the Hood. My column will mostly be looking at the business side of things and reviewing different happenings within the industry. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and have an in-depth view of the business world.

This column will tie together business, finances, management practices, along with mixing in styling, car models, executives, my travels, drives, build quality, and my view on the entire industry. I look forward to bringing a new light on the industry and opening the eyes of many that love the industry as much as Ryan and I do.

Along with covering mainstream news and reports, I will be exploring the unknown and the overlooked parts of the industry. I will share my interviews, talks, and experiences while covering the industry. In the next month I will have four columns up.

My goal is to educate, inform, and entertain people visiting this site. I am proud to be a member of Konkocars.com and again want to thank Ryan for asking me to be a part of this exciting new endeavor.
